Note about Wine:
This personalised bottle of wine comes directly from the cellars of Tenuta del Meriggio. It is made from 100% Aglianico grapes. After a long maceration with the skins, the wine matures first for 24/36 months in large oak barrels and then in the bottle for at least one year before release. Intense ruby red colour tending to garnet; fine and intense bouquet with hints of berries, spices, cherries and plums; on the palate it is captivating and elegant with a long persistence with fragrances of plum and morello cherry, black pepper and liquorice.
Pairings:
Served at 16-18°C this 2014 Taurasi from Tenuta del Meriggio pairs perfectly with first courses with meat sauce, feathered game in casserole, roasted red meats, hard matured cheeses.
