Chateau Palmer 2020 En Primeur
Exceptionally bright and energetic. A bright and exciting wine that shows exactly what biodynamic vineyard management combined with very skillful winemaking can achieve.
The lack of reviews is due to the fact that Palmer did not send the sample to the critics, if you wanted to taste it, it had to be at the Chateau, so only the two reviews, both from Bordeaux-based critics - either way, a sumptuous and multi-dimensional Palmer incredibly good!
"This is intense and concentrated, elegant, balanced and classic, all about texture that is velvety and seductive with soft-grained tannins. The overall feel is precise, slow and seductive, with appellation and signature ownership at every turn."

The Merlot provides the ample breath and touch of sweetness on entry, the Cabernet the fine but incisive tannins that drive the wine. Lots of life and persistence, the tannins fine-grained and fresh. Clear potential. Drinking 2028-2050.
