ANTINORI
Antinori: fine tuscan wines since 1385
Marchesi Antinori is one of the most important and appreciated names worldwide for the production of great Tuscan wines.
Antinori has produced wines for 600 years, thanks to Alessandro Antinori who made his wine known throughout the world travelling through France and Spain. Today, after 26 generations of winemaking, Marquis Piero took over with his daughters Albiera, Allegra and Alessia.
They have been able to combine tradition and modernity, allied to a constant search for quality.
Indeed, they produce great Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino from the traditional Tuscan Sangiovese grape, but also Supertuscan wines such as Solaia and Tignangello are among the most popular italian wines in the world.
The cellar is a symbol of their vision of modernity and innovation: the Chianti cellar, after a long renovation of 6 years, is a modern design building located in a traditional place. It is part of a project which matches traditional cellars with modern architectures. There is also a museum with the family art collection.
As Marquis Piero says: we are deeply tied to the tradions and culture of our homeland without forgetting to look around the world keeping pace with current developments.
Antinori wines are among the most prestigious and sought-after bottles in the world, a symbol of luxury and high oenological quality: Solaia Antinori is one of the most important fine Italian wines in the universe of wine lovers, as is the remains of Tignanello Antinori.
