Sometimes, to better read what is under the eyes you need to get there from a distance: Gabriele Dalcanale arrives for Miriam's love in Valpolicella strong of a great agronomic and enological experience in Trentino, but, having to start from scratch as producer of area, it allows itself the luxury of experimenting, getting to know and fully understanding every single vine that makes up the great local wines, with vinification in purity and monoparcellari, supported by a very close team and by the family.

With talent and precision comes therefore to his own interpretation of the wines of Valpolicella, in contrast to the great extractions, sweetness and muscularity that from our point of view often afflict them. Our preference for slender and elegant wines is not a mystery and we are enthusiastic about the reading of the territory of Gabriele, so close to what we love to offer.

The vineyards of Gabriele are located in the most classic and vocated areas of Valpolicella: the ten hectares cultivated in organic conditions - both pergola and espalier - are divided between the vineyards of Negrar, up to 45 years of age, where the winery is located and the hilly ones of Sant'Ambrogio, wonderfully exposed on the Garda, from where they come of extraordinary finesse grapes.

The land is in the first case clay and alluvial, giving more power, in the second calcareous and rich in shale, which give minerality and tension to the wines.
