LOUIS GUNTRUM
Louis Guntrum, German wines
Louis Guntrum is a historic German winery, founded in 1646 on the banks of the Rhine. Small in size and family-owned, between the two small German villages of Nierstein and Oppenheim, southwest of Frankfurt am Main, lies the beautiful estate consisting of historic cellars.
Today, Louis Guntrum guides the reins of the company, heir to eleven family generations, and its wines are appreciated and exported to over sixty countries around the world. Bottles of the highest quality from Louis Guntrum's range of whites and reds are produced with care and attention, starting with a selection of the best international grape varieties and ending up with a finished product that is truly extraordinary.
Unique among many, the Louis Guntrum winery is also committed to the development of small single-variety vineyards, defined as "single-site": this is how very small vineyard plots, characterised by different terroirs and microclimates, manage to differentiate and enrich each label, which expresses its own character and identity: a small winery that carries on a great tradition for wines of the highest quality.
