RINALDI
Giuseppe Rinaldi of Giuseppe and Marta Rinaldi was born in 1890. The founder Battista in the nineteenth century was a farmer and he cultivated some vineyards of the Marchese Falletti di Barolo, then, having become the owner of a small farm, he started selling the grapes produced and the sons began the activity of winemaking. The family tradition of the company is handed down from father to son up to the current owners Giuseppe and his daughter Marta.
The vines of the family of more than 10 hectares include the most renowned crus of Barolo: Brunate, Cannubi-San Lorenzo and Ravera. Giuseppe has always been a profound connoisseur and a strenuous defender of Barolo territory, a knowledge that translates into classic, deep wines, capable of aging magnificently by telling the terroir they were born in.
Giuseppe failed in 2018, giving the company the reins to his daughter Marta, a graduate in oenology at the school of Alba; young then, but with a long experience in the cellar and in the vineyards, having always followed his father in his business.
Marta leads the vineyards located in the prestigious Barolo crus with the utmost naturalness and rigorous respect for the environment. A management that is born from the deep bond with the territory and its traditions, an approach that never forgets the fundamental importance of the peasant culture.
The management of the vineyards and the vinification follow the traditionalist philosophies of the Langa, with regard to the naturalness of the product, and respect for the varietal characteristics of the cultivated vines.
