THOMAS MOREY
The Burgundy of Thomas Morey
Thomas Morey is a winemaker from Chassagne-Montrachet in Burgundy. Thomas is the heir to the tenth generation of this family. He grew up on his grandparents' estate, which then became his parents', where he worked for 12 years until 2006, when he decided to found his own company together with his wife Sylvie. Thus was born Domaine Thomas Morey, which saw its first vintage in 2007. Today, the estate covers nine hectares of vineyards, mainly in Chassagne-Montrachet, but also in the villages of Maranges, Santenay, Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet and Beaune. It produces about 65% white wines and 35% red wines. Elegant, mineral, lively, rich, silky and delicious... So many adjectives to describe the wines of the Thomas Morey estate.
