Rosso di Montalcino 2016 Poggio di Sotto
Rosso di Montalcino 2016 is a Tuscan red wine produced by the company Poggio di Sotto. Poggio di Sotto is an important winery in Montalcino that blends tradition and innovation to produce high level and very territorial wines, such as this Rosso di Montalcino, whose grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude ranging from 250 to 400 m above sea level. A full-bodied and intense wine that is aged for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels, it shows a luminous ruby red colour, a bouquet of elegant fruity aromas of plum, dried flowers and herbs, together with notes of undergrowth. The taste is fruity, very elegant with a savoury streak, great length and a slightly ethereal finish.
