Barbaresco Riserva Pajé 2016 Producers of the Barbaresco
Barbaresco Riserva "Pajé" 2016 is a fine wine from the Produttori del Barbaresco . It is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the Pajé cru, located on a hill facing south-west at about 250 meters above sea level, on clayey-limestone soils and sandy subsoil. The grapes ferment at 30 ° C with a maceration on the skins for about 28 days. Subsequently, malolactic fermentation takes place in large barrels and the wine then refines for at least 36 months, always in large barrels. Before marketing, it rests for another six months in the bottle. The Barberesco Riserva "Pajé" of the Barbaresco Producers shows a beautiful intense ruby red color. The nose reveals intense and delicate aromas of red fruit and berries, including cherry, raspberry and black currant, floral notes of rose and dried flowers, spicy hints of pepper, cinnamon and anise, to finish on balsamic and menthol notes . In the mouth it is medium bodied, elegant, fruity and spicy and with tannins present but well blended. Pleasant to drink and very persistent.
