Barbaresco Riserva "Pora" 2009 Producers of the Barbaresco
The Barbaresco Riserva "Pora" 2009 is a fine red wine from Piedmont produced by the Produttori del Barbaresco company. The grapes come from the Pora vineyard, which offers wines with strawberry and cherry aromas, a light and lively sip, which makes it pleasant to drink right away. The must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for 28 days, with malolactic fermentation. It then continues with aging, in which the wine remains for 36 months in oak barrels, before bottling. It then undergoes another 6 months of aging in bottle before being put on the market. The "Pora" Barbaresco Riserva shows an intense garnet color with ruby reflections. The nose is articulated in a complex bouquet of small red berries, strawberry and cherry, with notes of dry rose and spicy and licorice hints. In the mouth it is full-bodied and round, with a balanced and lively sip and a tannin perfectly blended with the structure. A prestigious wine perfect to drink now, or to be stored for a few years in the cellar.
