Barolo La Tartufaia Magnum 2016 Giulia Negri
Barolo "La Tartufaia" Magnum 2016 is a Piedmontese red wine produced by Giulia Negri. It reflects in an authentic way the territory of Morra, where a particularly fine and elegant Barolo is produced, because in this area, located north of the Barolo denomination, the soils are richer in sands and give wines with subtle and refined aromas, with floral scents and fruity, smooth tannins, wines that can be drunk even in youth. The grapes ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in truncated conical wooden vats of 60 hectoliters, with a maceration on the skins lasting about 40 days. Then the wine ages for 24 months in 25 hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels. At sight it is bright garnet red in color, while it expresses a bouquet of dried flowers, small red berry fruits, notes of humus and undergrowth. In the mouth it is round and balanced, with a ripe and juicy fruit, silky tannins, a fresh and very persistent finish.
