Barolo Le Vigne 2011 Magnum Luciano Sandrone
Barolo Le Vigne Sandrone is one of the best Piedmontese reds recognized on the international scene, it is a fine wine resulting from the blending of grapes from different vineyards as in the best Langhe tradition. It is a quality wine without ifs and buts, a Barolo Docg among the best Italian wines.
Le Vigne Sandrone is a wine produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes according to the regulations of Barolo Docg, the vineyards from which the grapes come are located on clayey/calcareous soils at 380 meters above sea level and are on average 30 years old. It is fermented in steel containers for 28 days while the malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels, the refinement takes place for 24 months in oak tonneaux and then in bottles for another 18 months.
Le Vigne Barolo Sandrone is a fine Italian wine of garnet color, the nose is very complex with notes typical of the best Barolo: hints of violet, ripe red fruit, leather, undergrowth and many many spices. In the mouth it is round, elegant and intense with a refined tannic texture balanced by a good flavor. The finish is long and persistent. A great Italian wine with which Luciano Sandrone amazes year after year.
