Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Magnum Fallet Prevostat
Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Magnum is a wine produced by Fallet Prevostat. It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the Grand Cru vineyards of Avize, and is a blend of two consecutive vintages, from base wines that ferment and age in Alsatian barrels. After re-fermentation in the bottle according to the principles of the Champanoise method, this Champagne matures in the bottle on its own yeasts for a minimum period of 6 years before being released for sale. The Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs, which we find here in the Magnum version, has an intense straw yellow colour and a fine, numerous and persistent perlage. The nose offers a complex bouquet of tropical fruits such as mango and papaya, delicate aromas of yellow flowers and citrus notes, particularly bitter orange. The taste is intense, well balanced between freshness and softness with a nice minerality, for a persistent sip with a savoury finish.
