Champagne Cristal Rosé 2006 Louis Roederer
The Champagne Cristal Rosé is the rosé variant of the cuvée Cristal by the Maison Roederer, to develop this fine champagne the company has developed a unique method, "the infusion" that allows you to extract the juicy and mature part of Pinot Noir and preserve the freshness. A part of the Chardonnay juice is poured into a maceration of Pinot Noir to ferment together and allow its perfect integration.
The cuvée of Cristal Champagne Rosé 2006 is composed of 45% Pinot Noir and 55% Chardonnay with a dosage of 8 g/l.
In the glass the Cristal Rosé is bright pink with some salmon reflections, the bubbles are fine and very persistent. The nose is elegant and complex with small berries, black cherry, flower petals, wild currant and wild strawberries. In the mouth it is juicy and full-bodied, a vortex of flavors, powerful and intense, rich and fresh complemented by notes of hazelnut and a talcum-like, almost oily sensation that distinguishes the great Pinot noir. The finish, characterized by chalky sensations and acidulous notes, reminiscent of fresh citrus and candied fruit.
Louis Roederer's Champagne Cristal Rosé 2006 is without doubt a perfect champagne, a true wonder to be reserved for the most important occasions.
