Lightly coppery color in the glass. Weak bubble, just present.
Just uncorked and at a cold temperature the champagne is a little 'closed to the nose, grumpy and too sour in the mouth.
The temperature and the oxygen are the secret for this champagne.
It warms up and becomes lively, exuberant. To the nose the pinot noir comes out with small bewitching red fruits, red apple, currant and cherries. In the mouth it remains taut, mineral, sapid. Acidity in the mouth is always high because of the often anticipated harvest and in this sense may not like many but has bewitched me.
Impudent at the edge of rudeness, aggressive, but deep, pure, true!
