Champagne Le Nombre d'Or Samblè Blanc de Blancs Aubry
Champagne Le Nombre d'Or Samblè Blanc de Blancs is a fine Champagne produced by Aubry. It is made from a blend of Chardonnay, Arbanne and Petit Meslier. Sablé is a term that indicates a type of Champagne made with less pressure and a bubble that is more delicate and creamy than usual. The final cuvée is composed of Chardonnay 40%, Arbanne 30%, Petit Meslier 30% from a single monocru, coming from Jouy-lès-Reim. The first fermentation takes place separately for the different parcels and is carried out in stainless steel, and once the cuvée is assembled, the second fermentation is started in the bottle according to the Champenoise method. As a final step, the wine stays 36 months on the lees in the bottle. The final dosage is minimal, in order to enhance the original characteristics. Aubry's Champagne "Le Nombre d'Or Sablé" is straw yellow in colour, with a light perlage and creamy mousse. The nose offers aromas of citrus, vegetable notes, honey, white fruit and caramel. The sip is round and very fresh, harmonious.
