This 6th generation estate, founded by Louis Forget, planted its first vineyards in the early 19th century, while the brand was founded in 1920.
In 1978 it became known as Forget-Brimont.
The Pinot Noir reigns supreme in this area.
These champagnes are produced primarily from grapes owned by those Premier Cru vineyards, but also buys grapes from other Premier Cru growers and Grand Cru growers to produce small quantities of Grand Cru Champagne.
WHAT IT CONTAINS:
Champagne Brut Premier Cru Magnum: The most incredible aspect of this champagne is its price-performance ratio unmatched by any other Premier Cru champagne.
Chardonnay, with a percentage of reserve wines between 20% and 40% to ensure consistency. A pale golden color.
It has a delicate nose, very fresh, with an enchanting complexity.
Fresh and soft on the palate, the first impression is of fresh green apples with a touch of white flowers and hazelnuts.
The complexity is driven by the use of multiple vintages, multiple varieties and a long aging of the components of the reserve wine.
The vineyards of Maison Forget-Brimont cover 18 hectares, most of which are located on the terroir of the communes of the Montagne de Reims: Mailly-Champagne and Verzenay for the Grand Cru and Chigny les Roses, Coulommes la Montagne, Ludes, Montbré, Sermiers, Taissy and Villers-Allerand for the Premier Cru.
