Chardonnay Baracca 2017 Miani
Chardonnay Baracca 2017 is a fine wine produced by Miani in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. It is an elegant, soft and structured white wine that is part of the Colli Orientali del Friuli appellation. This area, located in the province of Udine, is almost on the Slovenian border and has a unique and special terroir: the so-called Friulian ponca, which is a layer of marls alternating with sandstones that tends to disintegrate easily due to atmospheric changes, thus creating a terrain extremely grainy and able to give wines a clear mineral imprint. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for about 12 months. Miani Chardonnay 2017 has an intense and bright straw yellow color; The nose expresses a complex bouquet ranging from candied citrus fruits to dried fruit, from aromatic herbs to balsamic notes. In the mouth it is full-bodied, powerful, soft and at the same time fine, with that elegance and minerality typical of the Collio white wines.
