Tasting Box "La Cote de Beaune according to Fichet"
Burgundy is a magical land, a 52km handkerchief from which some of the best wines in the world come from, is divided into Côte de Nuits, the northern part of Burgundy from which mostly red wines based on Pinot Noir and Côte de Beaune, the southern area famous for its sharp Chardonnay.
In this tasting box we explore three appellations of the Côte de Beaune of the Domaine Jean-Philippe Fichet:
Meursault Le Tesson 2015 Fichet
Meursault Les Tesson Di Fichet is a great wine with great elegance and finesse, excellent minerality and a long finish in the mouth. A great example of Mersault's Chardonnay: wines with an elegance and complexity hard to find elsewhere.
Auxeu Duresses blanc 2018 Fichet
Bright straw yellow in color, it has a distinctly smoky profile, a characteristic that derives from the composition of the terroir, with fresh notes of citrus and mineral salts. The taste is direct and lively, with a good structure. A wine that needs a few years to express itself to the best of its abilities.
Puligny Montrachet 1er cru Les Referts 2017 Fichet
This Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Referts is a very elegant and refined wine: it shows a golden straw yellow color, with a distinctly floral nose, of white fruit, almond and mineral salts. The sip is enveloping and balanced, with a long persistence.
