Crémant d'Alsace KB 2013 Binner
Crémant d'Alsace KB 2013 is a natural sparkling wine from Alsace produced by Binner. It is produced from a blend of Auxerrois, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc grapes coming from the sandy granitic soil of Kaysersberg valley, from vineyards of about 40 years old. After a soft pressing of grapes, fermentation takes place spontaneously and aging lasts 12 months in cement vats. Refermentation takes place in bottle by adding fresh must of Auxerrois. Disgorgement takes place after 16 months of rest on lees, filled with the same wine. Crémant d'Alsace KB Extra-Brut from Domaine Christian Binner has a fresh and vertical nose, for a sip of remarkable acidity and minerality, balanced by the creaminess given by the long aging in wood.
