Messorio 2012 Le Macchiole
Messorio 2012 is a fine Tuscan wine produced by Le Macchiole. The company's goal has always been to want to give Merlot a different and original personality and look, through this bottle that represents the spearhead of the production. The first vintage dates back to 1994, and the name refers to the term "harvest", ie harvest. It is in fact this phase, the growth and then the harvest of the grapes to represent the most important step according to the philosophy of Le Macchiole, as well as a moment of joy and celebration for all the winemakers: the period of the harvest. This Messorio 2012 is a fine complex red wine, produced from pure Merlot grapes that give a wealth of ripe red fruits, accompanied by spices such as vanilla, cinnamon, leather and tobacco, which are found in the nose and mouth. On the palate it is deep and structured, with a present but smooth tannin, also for the years of this bottle that allow you to taste it to the full of its harmony. Long persistence and delicate finish of almonds complete the tasting of this majestic and unmissable wine.
