Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes 2016 Buisson Charles
Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes 2016 is a white wine from Burgundy produced by Buisson Charles. The Chardonnay grapes come from 50-year-old vines located in a small plot to the north, near Genévrières and just below the Perrières, exposed to the sun and on stony soil with a clay-limestone substrate.
This particular terroir gives freshness and tension to the wines, in particular this bottle of Buisson Charles, produced in limited quantities (1,200 bottles), is a concentrated and intensely aromatic wine, maturing for about 14 months in oak barrels (25 to 30% new wood).
The Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes 2016 expresses floral fruit aromas such as white peach, pear and lemon on the nose, along with mineral notes of flint, for a fresh and long sip. It is a wine that can be enjoyed immediately or left to rest in the cellar for up to ten years.
