Description

Monthelie en Remagnien 2018 Domaine Lejeune

Monthelie en Remagnien 2018 is a natural Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Lejeune. It is a wine made from Pinot Noir grapes that come from a small denomination located on a hill above Monthelie which offers very interesting, high quality wines with a solid structure and a complex and refined aromatic profile. After the manual harvest, the grapes are carefully selected and then vinified in the traditional way with the only presence of indigenous yeasts. Subsequently, the wine ages in new barrels at 30-40%. The Monthelie en Remagnien 2018 shows a bright ruby color, a complex nose where the fruit is the protagonist: small berries like blackberries, blueberries and black currants, and then an elegant floral hint of violet. The sip is powerful but refined, the elegant tannins, confirming that this bottle is perhaps among the most appreciated of the Lejeune production. It is certainly necessary to let this wine rest for a few years in the cellar, before tasting it to the best of its ability.

REGION: Burgundy (france)

GRAPES: 100% Pinot Noir
