Morgon 2017 Domaine Joseph Chamonard
Morgon 2017 is a fine French wine produced by Domaine Joseph Chamonard. It is made from 100% Gamay, the most characteristic red grape of Beaujolais. The vinification follows a very particular process during which the bunches are not de-stemmed but left whole. A carbonic maceration process follows and fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts; subsequently the wine ages in wood for 60% of quantity. The Morgon 2017 of Domaine Joseph Chamonard has an intense and bright ruby red color; the nose expresses a complex bouquet of small red fruits and earthy and spicy hints; On the palate it is medium-bodied, with a beautiful but at the same time enveloping structure, with a lively tannic texture given by the youth of the tannin and a beautiful persistence.
