Cassine di Pietra, a renowned wine and food company that has its roots in 1892 when Giovanni Spillare began to dedicate his passion to the cultivation of the vine.
This passion was then transmitted in Antonio Spillare and finally Giandomenico Spillare, current owner of the company Cassine di Pietra Vini that maintains over time the family tradition in the production of high quality wines.
The Cassine di Pietra wines are typical Veneto wines, full-bodied and structured reds such as the Refosco IGT dal Peduncolo Rosso or the Cabernet DOC Etichetta Oro, fresh and aromatic whites such as the Sauvignon IGT.
The typical wines of the Veneto region are based on the most common grape varieties of the area including Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet and Marzemino as well as the area of Conegliano which gives life to elegant sparkling wines such as Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
The hills of Vicenza and Padua are characterized by calcareous soils furrowed by rivers and a temperate climate; in Breganze are cultivated Cabernet, Merlot and Pinot Noir grapes while in the area of Gambellara are Pinot Blanc, Tocai and Garganega.
The company has maintained over time its family character, as well as the passion for the production of typical wines of the Veneto region of great quality to represent a wine region of great respect makes the gastronomy and wines of the Veneto one of its strengths.
