Barbera d'Alba Superiore 2019 Chiara Boschis
Barbera d'Alba Superiore 2019 is a fine wine from Piedmont produced by Chiara Boschis. It is made from 100% Barbera grapes coming from vineyards in the hills of Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga, from vines aged between 20 and 30 years old resting on Helvetian soil. Fermentation is spontaneous and is done with indigenous yeasts only and it is done in steel containers with the technique of emerged cap.
After the malolactic fermentation, the wine will be aged for 12 months in French oak barriques of second passage, with an additional 3-4 months in bottle.
Barbera d'Alba Superiore di Chiara Boschis has an intense ruby red color with purple hues, intense aromas of cherries and ripe berries, as well as spicy and herbaceous notes of hay and aromatic herbs. The taste is well balanced between structure and body, freshness and sapidity for a long and persistent finish.
