Beaujolais Village "Cuvée Jules Chauvet" Magnum 2016 Denogent
Beaujolais Village "Cuvée Jules Chauvet" is a fine Burgundy French wine produced by Domaine Robert Denogent, naturally without added sulphites. We are in Beaujolais, south of Burgundy, and this wine is produced with 100% Gamay grapes, the most widespread grape variety of the territory, which in this territory of clays and sands and adequate exposure, is able to best express the characteristics of the terroir. In particular, the grapes of this label come from a small parcel dedicated to Jules Chauvet. It is a Beaujolais Village of particular value, which thanks to a long aging in wood, is an elegant and balanced wine, with a fruity and spicy aromatic profile. Fresh and lively, it is a very pleasant and easy to drink red. Spontaneous fermentation takes place directly in French oak barrels, with a maceration on the skins for a couple of weeks. It ages for 16 months in barrique before being bottled. In the glass shows a nice garnet red color; the nose is composed of fruity aromas of small wild berries, cherry, sweet spices, vanilla and hints of wood. In the mouth it is delicate and medium-bodied, with silky tannins, pleasantly fresh and with a long finish.
