Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2019 François Bertheau
Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2019 is a fine French wine from the Burgundy region, produced by Francois Bertheau. International critics greatly appreciated this wine, when it was produced by his father Pierre, and it was so incensed that it was considered (from 1989), for luster, to be superior to the expressions made in the bottle by some of the most high-sounding domains of Chambolle and on a par with the wines of Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier.
We can certainly say that this Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2019, produced from a vineyard of 0.34 ha, which rests on red soil, represents the qualitative peak of Bertheau wines. The parcel of the domaine come from lots owned by the domaine located in both the red and white lands, which are then vinified together: this union is truly able to express with completeness and precision all that is legitimate to expect from a “Bonnes Mares Of race. In addition to the typical floral hone declined on the well-known violet, there is a sublime and pulpy dark fruit, absolute and well-deserved protagonist of the scene, which translates into a sip that invites the following in a solemn gait, deployed on a tannic crowd that does not skimp expressive power and vigor, but which assist a density and concentration tout en finesse. Tasting that we will remember for a long time.
