Chambolle Musigny 2017 Thierry Mortet
Chambolle Musigny is a fine Pinot Noir wine produced by domaine Thierry Mortet according to biodynamic methods under the Chambolle Musigny denomination in Burgundy, France. The grapes come from a single plot of 22 hectares with about 45-year-old stumps planted on clay-limestone soil. The harvest is done manually and the grapes are selected in the vineyard and in the cellar on a sorting table. The bunches are 100% destemmed and placed in the winemaking tank where they spend 5 days in cold maceration. When fermentation begins, the cork is dipped twice a day for 15 days. Thierry Mortet Chambolle Musigny 2017 shows a beautiful ruby color, with a bouquet of cherry and violet on the nose. In the mouth it is soft and silky with a taste of raspberries and small fresh berries. Persistent, fresh and extremely elegant with refined and integrated tannins.
