Champagne Le Nombre d Or 2014 Maison Aubry
Champagne Le Nombre d'Or 2014 is a fine champagne produced by Aubry. It is a very special vintage Champagne, which fully reflects the style of the company Maison Aubry because it is obtained from a blend, which in addition to the classic Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, is composed of other varieties of old and forgotten indigenous vines in extinction that the company has decided to recover. The result is a unique Champagne with a traditional taste, complex thanks to a long maturation on the lees, very elegant and mineral. The cuvée "Le Nombre d'Or Integrale" is thus composed of grapes of seven different varieties (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Blanc, Arbanne, Petit Meslier, Fromenteau). worked in a precise way both in the vineyard, with the choice of the best grapes, and in the cellar with soft pressing and aging of base wine in wood. After blending and a second fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise method, the wine is left to mature on the lees for at least 48 months. Aubry's "Le Nombre d'Or Integrale" is a vintage Brut Champagne with a straw yellow colour and a very fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet expresses floral scents, aromas of ripe fruit, yeast and pastry. The sip is rich and enveloping, with a pleasantly fresh and savoury finish.
