Champagne Rosè NR 3 Brut Andre Clouet
Champagne Rosé NR 3 Brut is a French rosé sparkling wine produced by Domaine Andre Clouet. The company is located in Bouzy, in the southern part of the Montagne de Reims, and is specialised in the production of Pinot Noir, thanks to a terroir of clays and limestone and a cool microclimate that provide the ideal habitat.
It is made from a blend of 92% Pinot Noir grapes and 8% Vin Rouge. Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, meticulous attention is paid to all production phases. After ripening, the grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September. The must undergoes a soft pressing and is then fermented in stainless steel tanks, followed by re-fermentation in the bottle through the addition of rigorously selected indigenous yeasts that activate the re-fermentation process.
After a long stay on the yeasts, the remouage is carried out, followed by manual dégorgement. Andre Clouet's Rosé is a rich and structured Champagne, characterised by a beautiful light salmon pink colour and a fine, numerous and persistent perlage. The nose offers fruity aromas of strawberry and raspberry along with almond. The sip is rich and persistent, with aromas of strawberry and toasted hints.
