Champagne Les 4 Terroirs 1er Cru Extra Brut Georges Remy
Champagne Les 4 Terroirs 1er Cru is a fine wine produced by Domaine Georges Remy. As the name suggests, this Champagne is produced by blending grapes from 4 different terroirs of the 4 villages: the Grand Cru of Bouzy, Ambonnay, Louvois and the 1er Cru of Tauxieres. The cuvée is made from 68% Pinot Noir, the main grape variety of the Montagne de Reims, and 32% Chardonnay, from a clay and chalky terroir.
Worked according to methods of organic farming and biodynamic, the base wines that make up this cuvée are vinified and aged on the lees in wooden barrels, are not filtered or used chemicals, the re-fermentation takes place in the bottle and is the dosage is 3.5 g / l, extra-brut.
The Champagne Les 4 Terroirs di Remy shows in the glass a beautiful deep yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose expresses a complex bouquet of vegetal aromas and notes of yeast and pastry. The taste is strongly fresh and mineral, with aromas of fresh fruit and hints of wood.
