Champagne Rosè de Saignee Extra Brut Emmanuel Brochet
Champagne Rosè de Saignee Extra Brut is a fine Champagne produced by Emmanuel Brochet. It is the result of 24-hour maceration of 100% Meunier from Lieu Dit La Motelle, a vineyard planted in 1965 near the village of Villers Aux Noeuds. It is produced according to natural methods, with great attention paid to each stage of production: the base wine, like all the cuvèes made by Brochet, matures in wooden barrels for about 1 year, is not filtered and there is the addition of a very low dose of sulphites. This Champagne Rosé, of which a very limited number is produced (about 3400 bottles), conquers with its characteristics: it shows in the glass a beautiful pink colour, the nose expresses intense aromas of citrus, red fruit and mineral notes, while the creamy and enveloping taste is balanced by a nice flavor.
