Champagne Extra Brut Chardonnay V16 Antoine Bouvet
Champagne Extra Brut Chardonnay V16 is a fine Champagne produced by Antoine Bouvet using natural methods. It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the Lieux-Dits of the villages of Avenail- Val- D'Or and Bisseuil, both under the Premier Cru appellation, from 70-year-old vines that were planted in the late 1950s.
A rare bottle of Blanc de Blancs, of which a very limited number is produced, about 1,000 bottles, is the result of the careful work of Antoine Bouvet, who personally takes care of all the phases of the production of his wines according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. Fermentation is spontaneous and the addition of sulphites during vinification is extremely limited, the wine matures partially in oak barrels before re-fermentation in the bottle.
This Extra Brut Chardonnay from Antoine Bouvet is a Champagne of great elegance and class. Lively and fragrant, with a luminous straw colour and fine, persistent perlage, it enchants with the purity of its fruit and its mineral hints.
