Meursault 1er Cru "Clos de Perrieres" 2012 Albert Grivault
We are dealing with one of the largest Domaine in Meursault especially as it can boast under Monopole the ownership of the Clos Des Perrieres bought in 1879 by Albert Grivault.
Albert bought a property of over 15 hectares, including 1 hectare in Clos Vougeot, and today the Domaine has about 6 hectares and 5 appellations all in Meursault except one in Pommard.
Michel Bardet, grandson of Albert Grivault, now runs the estate with his sister.
The style of the wines is all about tradition. Bardet is looking for very mineral and long-lived wines.
The decision to use very little wood and even less batonagge goes in this direction.
Deep, captivating wines with a very long life and a quality-price ratio that is hard to beat.
