Meursault Tesson Clos de mon Plaisir 2013 Domaine Roulot
Meursault Tesson Clos de mon Plaisir 2013 is a fine Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Roulot. The Chardonnay grapes come from old vineyards over 60 years old growing on a hillside to the south at an altitude of about 300 metres. Harvesting is strictly by hand, carried out at a point of good maturity, and this is a great white wine with good aromatic complexity and considerable ageing potential. The 2013 Meursault Tesson Clos de mon Plaisir shows an intense, luminous golden yellow colour in the glass, while the nose expresses complex hints of ripe yellow fruit, together with notes of tangerine, spices and flowers. The sip is creamy, elegant and perfectly balanced, with aromas of citrus and sweet spices together with notes of menthol and aniseed, with a fresh, mineral finish.
