Morgon Vielles Vignes 2019 Guy Breton
Morgon Vielles Vignes 2019 is a natural wine produced by Guy Breton. It is made from 100% Gamay grapes, from 80-year-old vines resting on soils composed mainly of granite and sand, located in the Saint-Joseph and Grand Cras subzones. This wine, produced according to natural methods with great respect for the grapes and the terroir of origin, is aged for 10 months in used barriques of third passage. In the glass it shows an opaque ruby red colour, while the nose offers aromas of red fruits, mainly cherry, together with mineral and smoky notes. The palate is deep, with elegant tannin and a long mouthfeel ending in a savoury finish. The sandy composition of the soil of the parcel from which the grapes are grown and the altitude at which the vines are situated give this red wine great acidity and a greater complexity and final depth.
