Barbera d'Asti Superiore Nuda 2015 Montalbera
Barbera d'Asti Superiore Nuda 2015 is a fine Piedmontese red wine from Montalbera. It is made from Barbera grapes from a single vineyard, the oldest on the estate, the vineyard of the Notaio (in honor of the owner of the estate that was acquired by Riccardo Enrico Morando).
Here the soil contains a percentage of limestone, which gives elegance and complexity to this wine, which is aged for a period of 10-15 months in French oak barriques. Barbera d'Asti Superiore Nuda has a beautiful ruby red color with garnet red reflections.
The bouquet is intense and complex, constantly evolving as minutes go by: it contains aromas of ripe red fruits and fruits under spirits, dried flowers, tobacco, black pepper and hints of enamel and varnish. The taste is rich, complex and balanced, with a long persistence.
