Champagne Brut Premier Cru Maison Aubry
Champagne Brut Premier Cru is a fine wine produced by the Maison Aubry. It is a blend of the three classic Champagne grape varieties, with a predominance of Pinot Meunier (chardonnay 20%, pinot meunier 60%, and pinot noir 20%) coming mostly from Premier Cru vineyards in the communes of Pargny and Jouy-lès-Reims, and to a lesser extent from Villedommage and Coulommes-la-Montagne. Maturation takes place for a period of about 18-24 months on the lees before dégorgement. Maison Aubry's Brut Premier Cru is a very pleasant and drinkable Champagne: bright straw yellow in colour with a fine, numerous and persistent perlage, it expresses mouth-watering aromas of fruit (white peach and raspberry), acacia flowers and aromatic herbs. The taste is structured but fresh at the same time, with aromas of citrus and white fruit, on a strong mineral background and a nice persistence.
