Château Peybonhomme Blanc 2017 Château Peybonhomme
Le Blanc from Château Peybonhomme-Les-Tours is a Bordeaux white wine made from a blend of 50% Sauvignon and 50% Sémillon from a limestone-clay soil. The winery has been working biodynamically since 2000, using natural treatments and a great respect for the land.
The grapes are harvested by hand in the morning to preserve their freshness, and pressed in the afternoon. Fermentation is spontaneous using indigenous yeasts for 60% in cement tanks and 40% in new barrels, where the wine matures for a period of six months. Finally, a small amount of sulphur is added before bottling, which follows the phases of the moon.
This Château Peybonhomme blanc 2017 expresses itself with a deep yellow colour, a nose of tropical fruit and acacia honey and a rich sip that comes from ripe Sémillon grapes, lively and fresh from the influence of Sauvignon.
