Soave Classico Monte Grande 2018 Graziano Pra
Graziano Pra is a winery deeply committed to the production of healthy natural wines, real wines that express in a glass the whole territory and the vintage of the harvest following the dictates of organic and natural agriculture, for a winemaking not dictated by the fashion of the moment but exclusively by what Nature allows to obtain.
The "Monte Grande" 2018 Soave Classico di Prà originates from a blend of 60% Garganega and 30% Trebbiano di Soave grapes, coming from the homonymous vineyard which is considered one of the best cru of the estate, from vineyards of about 40 years old located at an altitude of 150 m above sea level and exposed to the sun and on soils of volcanic origin. Grapes are left to dry on the vine for about one month in order to favor a natural concentration of aromas and sugars. Fermentation takes place in large Allier casks of 15 and 20 hectoliters, at a temperature of about 18°C. Subsequently the wine ages for 10 months in large 30 hectoliters Allier oak casks and some months in bottle.
Soave Classico di Prà shows in the glass a very intense and concentrated straw yellow color. The nose is complex with hints of yellow and tropical fruit, citrus fruits and aromatic notes. The sip is rich and at the same time has a nice crispness and sapidity. A great white wine for aging.
