Langhe Sauvignon Dives 2019 Burlotto
Langhe Sauvignon Dives 2019 is a fine wine from Piedmont produced by Burlotto. It is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the winery's own vineyards that are harvested when fully ripe in order to achieve maximum complexity and aromatic intensity from the grapes.
After the grapes have been picked from the bunch, they are pressed and macerated with the skins. Afterwards, the alcoholic and partly malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels where it remains on the bottom for 10 months to mature, a factor that contributes to greatly enhancing its character and longevity. The wine is then bottled and left to mature in the bottle for a further 3-4 months before being released for sale.
Fabio Alessandria, the talented heir to the Burlotto winery, never ceases to amaze us with his range of wines which, from the most award-winning Barolo to less renowned bottles, express great character and quality.
