Valpolicella 2019 "Morandina" Graziano Pra
Valpolicella "Morandina" 2019 is a natural fine wine from Veneto, produced by Graziano Pra. The company is a renowned reality in Valpolicella, in particular in the Soave Classico production area, but also in fine and important reds such as Valpolicella and Amarone. This Valpolicella is obtained from the same Amarone grapes, coming from the Morandina vineyard, and it maintains the richness of the fruit and character, despite being a simpler and more immediate wine. After the late manual harvest (mid-October), the bunches are left to dry for about twenty days. After the destemming and destemming, the must ferments in steel, also carrying out malolactic fermentation. It then proceeds with a short aging in oak barrels of 20 hectoliters. Valpolicella "Morandina" 2018 Prà shows a ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is mainly fruity with wild berries, spices such as black pepper and a final mineral touch. The mouth is medium-bodied and flowing, fruity and with a fresh tannin, a nice balance and quite persistent. To be combined with appetizers, cold cuts, white meats and fresh or semi-mature cheeses.
