The Oppidum Chardonnay Cotes de Auvergne 2020 Yvan Bernard
The Oppidum Chardonnay Cotes de Auvergne 2020 is a natural wine produced by Yvan Bernard. It is done alone on Chardonnay from 20-30 year old vines that grow on volcanic, varietal and territorial soil, and this element characterizes its mineral aromas that are found both in the nose and in the mouth. Color perennial straw yellow; The nose gives an interesting bouquet of yellow pulp fruit such as peach and apricot, and a delicate aroma of white flowers and, as we have anticipated, a marked minerality. The palate is animated by a vibrant freshness, but at the same time softness. Oppido Chardonnay is therefore a balanced wine, with a long savory finish. Away from any intervention or chemical substance, it is in force and in the cellar, there is only a minimal use of sulfur dioxide for bottling. Excellent to be enjoyed as an aperitif, on foie gras, on mussels with cream, rabbit with herbs, sheep's tomme. Serving temperature: 8 ° / 10 ° Store: 4 to 5 years.
