Pian Del Ciampolo 2019 Montevertine
Pian del Ciampolo is a Tuscan red wine produced by Montevertine. It is made from Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino, typical grapes of the Tuscan region. The vineyards are located from 400 to 600 meters above sea level, on soils composed of clay, sand, silt, galestro and limestone. The wine ferments for about 25 days in cement tanks, ages in Slavonian oak barrels for a year and then again in cement and in the bottle (for not less than three months). Pian del Ciampolo Montevertine is a fairly complex wine, very versatile in pairings, with a bouquet of fruit and vegetable scents, a savory and fresh sip, quite tannic and balanced.
