Riesling Grand Cru "Frankstein" 2017 Domaine Beck-Hartweg
The 2017 Riesling Grand Cru "Frankstein" is a white wine from Alsace produced using natural methods by Domaine Beck-Hartweg. It is made from 100% riesling grapes from 40-year-old vines growing on granite soil that gives it distinct minerality. It ferments spontaneously in used oak barrels for 10 months where it remains for aging which takes place in the same containers for 11 months. It is a crisp, straight and elegant white wine characterized by a great crispness typical of riesling and minerality given by the type of soil. An important white wine which will give its best after some years of aging.
