Rossese di Dolceacqua Luvaria 2019 Maccario Dringenberg
Rossese di Dolceacqua Luvaria 2019 is a red wine from Liguria produced by Maccario Dringenberg company. It is a wine capable of expressing the character and elegance of the most typical autochthonous red grape variety of the region: the Rossese. In this area of the western Ligurian Riviera, the vines with the Rossese tree grow on steep and difficult to reach terraces, on soils composed of sandstone-limestone and solidified clays. In particular, this wine comes from the best grapes from the Alberello Provençale di Luvaira vineyards facing west in Val Nervia and selected manually at the time of harvest. The Rossese di Dolceacqua Luvaria 2019 by Maccario Dringenberg has a bright ruby red color with purple reflections, given the young age of the bottle. The nose is fresh and pleasantly fruity, but at the same time complex with a bouquet of red fruit, fresh grass, spicy notes of black pepper, hints of leather and tobacco. On the palate it is medium-bodied, elegant and with a beautiful freshness. Although it can be drunk young, it has good aging potential and in a few years it will be able to offer great balance and enveloping tannins. A fascinating wine that speaks to us of Liguria in a pure and ... convincing way.
