Rossese di Dolceacqua Posau 2019 Maccario Dringenberg
Rossese di Dolceacqua Posau 2019 is a red wine from Liguria produced by Maccario Dringenberg company. Entry level of the production, it is a wine capable of expressing the character and elegance of the most typical autochthonous red grape variety of the region: the Rossese. In this area of the western Ligurian Riviera, the vines with the Rossese tree grow on steep and difficult to reach terraces, on soils composed of sandstone-limestone and solidified clays. In particular, this label was born in the lower part of the vineyards, which thanks to a source of water is healthier and more luxuriant than in other areas. The Rossese di Dolceacqua 2019 Posau by Maccario Dringenberg has a bright ruby red color with purple reflections, given the young age of the bottle. The nose is fresh and pleasantly fruity, but at the same time complex with a bouquet of red fruit, fresh grass, spicy notes of black pepper, hints of leather and tobacco. On the palate it is medium-bodied, elegant and with a beautiful freshness. Although it can be drunk young, it has good aging potential and in a few years it will be able to offer great balance and enveloping tannins. A fascinating wine that speaks to us of Liguria in a pure and ... convincing way.
