Munjebel White 2018 Cornelissen
Munjebel Bianco is a fine Sicilian wine produced by Cornelissen. It comes from a blend of Grecanico and Carricante from ancient 40-year-old vineyards that grow on Etna's lava stone at altitudes of over 1000 meters. As Frank Cornelissen himself stated, it is a white with a red character, above all thanks to the 4-day maceration on the skins which makes the wine richer and more complex. Munjebel Bianco Cornelissen has a veiled ocher yellow color with golden undertones. The nose is pure Etna terroir, with a burst of mineral salts that blend with delicate fruity aromas, ginger and undergrowth. In the mouth it is fresh, elegant and savory, hardness reinforced by a slight tannin.
