Susucaro rosé 2019 Cornelissen
Susucaru rosé is a Sicilian fine wine produced by Frank Cornelissen. It is made from a blend of Malvasia, Moscato Nero, Nerello Mascalese and Catarratto grapes from old sapling vines located on the slopes of Etna. In the vineyard there is no use of chemicals, the same in the cellar where fermentation takes place in fiberglass tanks for a few months. Cornelissen chooses not to use the barrique to ensure that the wine maintains the primary characteristics of the grapes. Susucaru is a structured rosé wine, almost on a par with a red: The color is intense pink tending to raspberry red; The nose reveals delicate aromas of red berries, vegetable touches and mineral salts. Fresh and savory in the mouth, it is a frank and rustic wine but at the same time elegant and refined.
